This course complies with the National Occupational
Health and Safety Standards NOHSC: 7019 and
contains the skills and knowledge required to
enable participants to apply for a National Licence in
High Risk Work for Forklift Operation.
COURSE CONTENT INCLUDES:
• Planning the job
• Pre-operational & post operational checks
• Job hazard analysis and hazard controls
• Driving the Forklift
• Loading & unloading
• Stacking & de-stacking
• Parking & Shut down
DURATION
1 day – experienced operators
2 days – inexperienced trainees
REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years of age, be
able to use English language to enable safe operation
and communication, and have no medical or physical
impairments that would affect the safe operation of a
Forklift truck.
RECOGNITION
A Statement of Attainment for
TLID 1007C – Operate a forklift will be issued
on successful completion of the training and
assessment.
