Driver Training and Education Pty Ltd was founded in 1989 in response to the need to provide effective and quality post licence driver training to government, commercial and industrial business sectors throughout Western Australia.

From its initial inception, DTEC has grown to become the only operator of a full time dedicated driver training facility in Western Australia. We are also recognised internationally for the provision of driver training and related consultancy services.

No other provider in Western Australia has its own purpose built driving venue and full time staff to support the professional standards that are expected from a company of DTEC’s credibility.

In addition to providing training for private individuals, DTEC’s training and consultancy services are utilised by a wide range of organisations throughout Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, South East Asia, Africa, the Indian sub continent and the Middle East

Automotive Holdings Group (AHG) has formed a strategic alliance with Driver Training and Education Centre (DTEC) to secure naming rights to DTEC’s new training facility (AHG Driving Centre) at Perth International Airport.

Driver Training and Education Centre (DTEC), MC Motorsport and Rider Training Australia (RTA) are the preferred providers of all services at the AHG Driving Centre.
